friday, bear with me. well, only if you want to. holy wow. first week of 2011. hi you! wetsuit & snorkel needed for my inbox. new projects discussed & underway [personal & professional]. the kind that run excitedly past midnight into early morning hours. which not surprisingly begs for heavy eyes & painful morning runs. but all worth it. keep moving. he says. cool guy, that father of mine. i think i’ll keep him around for awhile. forever, actually. a long chat last night about the personal project that i’m working on. all the details minus one because it felt hard to explain. honey, it sounds terrific. you’ve been moving toward this for years. this is who you are. im really proud of you. keep at it. just dig in and love it with every breath. but don’t forget to breathe. there’s one thing you might want to consider… & with that i was reminded THIS MAN KNOWS ME. because he articulated the long term goal of the project flawlessly. everyone should be known in this way. if you’re not - start sharing. share little bits, big bits. all of it. with someone. anyone. be known in the way that you want to. it’s a knock down drag out process at times. & last year was proof of that. the darkest season of my life. striped down. vulnerable. diving in. climbing out. evolving. today: i am not without struggle but so damn grateful to be here. & while i am definitely a freckle collecting summer kid - winter isn’t so bad after all. beauty revealed. perspective. xo
