saturday, a day for good people. my people. up early. wondered about rolling over for more sleep & thought better of it. it was time to start the day. what’s neat about having friends in different time zones: good morning messages waiting for me when i wake up. my father was busy in the kitchen simmering steel cut oats. breakfast. tea included. rooibos with honey or oolong. two cups please. & then time with a ridiculously lovely friend. roaming laughing lunching storytelling picture making tea drinking shopping. xo
